Raffy - Familia Zanchetta

333 Syrah bottle, Zanchetta

333 Syrah

Visually striking, it shows a deep purple hue and a density that hints at its great structure. On the nose it is perfumed, with notes of violet, rose, cassis, blackberry and cherry, accompanied by spices such as clove, cinnamon and pepper; subtle meaty nuances and a very well-balanced oak can also be perceived. On tasting it recalls a great wine from the RhĂ´ne.

On the palate it shows very high concentration, with deep flavors of ripe black fruit, yet with no trace of sweetness. It has a very well-preserved acidity, flavors of crushed berries with hints of gingerbread and a very long finish. An imposing, characterful wine that will reach its full potential after a few more years in the cellar.
